For this years ICIP Conference, IEEE had the Picture Mosaics team bring SketchBots to Malaysia! The focal point of the SPS 75th Anniversary lounge was Live Sketch Mosaic wall which overtime covered the event logo to reveal the SPS 75th Anniversary logo. Attendees watched in amazement as there sketch was drawn simultaneously on a 2×2 sticker and larger 4×6. They were then able to put up their own sketch on the mosaic wall and kept the larger sketch to take with them. Participants also received an email with a boomerang gif of the mosaic where they could save their sketch and share to social media.
SketchBot Mosaics use the latest AI and machine learning technology to create simple, one of a kind line drawings of event guests. Guests had their photo taken by a brand ambassador, which was then instantly analyzed by the mosaic system and sketched right before their eyes.
Guests enjoyed taking photos and videos of the SketchBot in action as their image was being drawn. Many then shared with their coworkers who then came over to also have their portrait made into a sketch!
